Daveography.ca is a site that belongs to me, Dave Sutherland, mainly for my photography stuff and my blog musings.

I fancy myself a fine art photographer, but am trying to move into other genres.  I like to think I’m fairly creative and experimental.

I do this photography thing as a hobby, and as such I don’t consider myself to be a professional photographer, nor do I really want to do it for a living.  I do plan to make and sell some limited edition prints, though, since it is an extremely expensive hobby.

I’m a software developer and technical jack-of-all-trades by day, and live happily in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with my lovely wife and our menagerie of pets.  Other interests include architecture, cooking, mountain biking, and Bak Mei Kung Fu.
